How Digital Planning Works

What is a digital planner?

A digital planner is a digital document built with calendar and planner templates. It works together with a note taking app on a device such as an iPad, Android tablet, iPhone, or computer. Think of the digital planner as your paper planner, and the note taking app as your digital stationery, replacing pens, highlighters, and erasers.

We offer PDF based digital planners, designed to work with annotation apps such as GoodNotes, Notability, and Xodo.

Why Choose Digital Planning

Easy to Navigate
Every planner is fully hyperlinked and structured for smooth, intuitive navigation.

Easy to Edit
Erase, undo, move, copy, and paste notes freely. Style your pages however you like, and search your notes instantly.

Cost Effective
A digital planner costs less than paper over time. Choose an undated version and reuse it year after year. Most note taking apps are a one time purchase, with free options also available.

Paperless
Lightweight, portable, and better for the environment.

What You Need to Get Started

To use a digital planner, you will need a digital device and a note taking app installed on it. If you prefer writing by hand, a stylus is recommended.

Your device will largely determine the best setup for you.

For iOS devices, we recommend our PDF digital planners paired with the GoodNotes app.
For Android devices, we recommend our PDF digital planners paired with the Noteshelf app.
